Dressed in layer upon layer of molten reds and blues, giving the impression of molten lava, the pecking and perching pair of birds are cast by hand from English earthenware clay. Glazed in multiple, reactive layers meaning the colouring will continue to develop as the piece matures. Each piece is decorated by hand so each one will be unique.
